Art is an expression; it’s the outer demonstration of an inner state. Keeping that in mind, I created “Rotation,” which is one of my favorite paintings. The primary idea behind “Rotation” is to depict the trials and tribulations encountered by many people, including myself, in a world of selective opportunity concerning color. However, the catastrophes of life aren’t perpetual.
As humans, we consider that life’s misfortunes are never-ending and forget that no matter how dark it gets, “there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.” All you need to do is believe in the rotation of life that continuously evolves.
We are always revolving in a circle that instills how nothing is constant. Every adversity eventually leads to success and contentment. This “Rotation” of life teaches us the elusive art of embracing change in daily trials and tribulations to live and follow our dreams.
It’s indeed true that anyone can dream; there are no limitations to it! However, people tend to suppress their dreams due to the pessimism of the world. But remember, you don’t have to hold back your aspirations as long as you follow the eternal light.
The world is undoubtedly filled with darkness that, at times, it may feel like it’ll swallow you whole. Sometimes, the darkness gets too overwhelming that dominates your life significantly. That’s what the brown strokes in the painting represent – hurt, disappointment, and unfair treatment or judgment. However, these things can only take a toll on you if you give them the power to do so.
Remember, you can always overcome the darkness if you believe in the supremacy of light! The white strokes in the painting denote victory in every challenge and disappointment that life throws your way. The spurt of colors represents the circle of life where nothing is constant – not even the obscure times.
The “Rotation” depicts an axis of life where you consistently achieve success and contentment after every misfortune. Light is always there to guide you and help you overcome your obscurest moments. The primary idea behind this painting is to remind you that you can overpower darkness with light. If you stay optimistic and buoyant, you’ll surely succeed in every facet of life.
It’s pivotal to remember that darkness is provisional. No matter how overpowering the shades of gloom may seem, the light will unremittingly rotate and bring hope and bliss once again. It’s in that moment you’ll find yourself following your deepest, wildest dreams and turning them into reality. The tiniest speck of hope has the power so vast that it can overcome all your despair. We must remember that every trial and tribulation brings victory in Christ because he is the light and hope of our life.
However, this painting is subjective to the viewer. “Rotation” will illuminate your perception of life and help in self-evaluation. Remember, life will continue to rotate between good and evil. But, never underestimate the power of eternal light as it can overcome your darkest hours and help you succeed.
